Kendall's Kitchen began with a vision while sitting inside the very location it presently occupies in Pacific Beach, CA. Mara knew she wanted to open a cafe in Pacific Beach. When the current space became available, as well as the enjoining one, she jumped on it. Mara previously spent years developing and building the San Diego-area Nothing Bundt Cakes stores (which she sold in 2019), and was excited to venture out on her own. She would only do it, however, if her main “partner in crime” from her previous chain, Kelly, joined her. Together, they are creating the “kolache kraze” by introducing delicious Czech treats to the community. Stop in to experience wonderful world-inspired food in a warm, inviting kafe and lounge.
